Fences
- The fence must tie to the rear corners of the home. It can only extend past a rear corner if it attaches to a neighbor’s approved fence — and if your neighbor installed a fence without an approved ARB application, you can’t tie into it until they receive approval.
- Include the as-built survey with the fence drawn on it and proper measurements, so the ARB can confirm the fence stays within your property lines.
- For rear-driveway homes, the fence must be set back 3 feet from the rear property line. Also include the name of the approved shrub you’ll use to keep a continuous hedgerow along the outside of the fence.
